How much could I save yearly by switching to a tankless gas water heater?

I have heard that tankless water heaters are more effecient, therefore cheaper on utility costs. How much would I set apart in a year on my gas bill? 50%? 30% 75%? Would it be worth switching? My water heater is only about two years old.

I found the info on this place to be faulty as it suggests turning the waterheater to 120 deg. F
That would form bacteria in the tank. It should be set higher with an anti-scald valve installed
Also the newer tankless are 83-94% eff compared

A tankless water heater heats the water only as you use it thus provident the energy that a standard tank uses to store hot water 24/7 when you only use it AM and PM. It will save a considerable amount of forcefulness IF you can stand it's idiosyncracies.
