its not busted , nor is there a leakage.
the water supplying it may be turned off or frozen

in all likelihood no water going in, how cold is it??outside? do you have cold water?could be froze after or before one thing is for sure its nothing to do with the water heater ,turn the power off to your hot water heater then gap the top line going in to see

I have a low boy 40 gallon electric water heater that is not turning on. The reset button won't reset.?

The label is a bradford white low boy 40 gallon tank. I have checked the breakers and it is ok. But, the reset button on the entity won't reset so, the water heater is not turning on. What is wrong?
if it will not reset when it is glacial then you need new thermostat you an get them at Home depot

the electric are $100 cheaper to buy. we're a kinfolk with 2 adults and 1 child.w e don't have a dish washer and usually take showers not baths. we have a washing utensil. i dont' know what else people would need to know.

what does it tariff to get it installed?? will they take the old one away?
that first response made no sense to me... are you saying fix the element or supersede the whole unit? what element? how do you siphon the water out?? I'm so confused.
Get through one's head about $600 to have one installed. Buying a quality unit yourself will run $300.
Electrical water heaters have long calrod heaters inserted into them. It is plausible that one of the two in yoru heater has burned out.
