How fancy should it take an electric water heater (30 gallon) to recover after all of the hot water is used? Also, how many showers, or minutes of shower time, should 30 gallons be tolerable for? Thanks.
hi 30 gallons modify to liters is 30x4which is 120 liters that's Lot of water .it takes a kettle three minutes for one liter so i would say 120x3 =360 so for boiling hot water 36 min with the addition of time to fill tank depends on water pressure.

You paucity to know the Kilowatt rating of the heater to determine the Amps
Lets say its 3 KW, KW=Volts x Amps
3000=240 x Amps
3000/240 = 12.5 Amps
The nearest breaker measure

30 gallon electric water heater?

I was bewitching a shower last night and noticed there was no warm water. I opened the water heater cover and hit a red reset button and heard a pop. The copper hose seems to be getting eager. My question is why did it turn off? its only 9 years old.
Either a power eddy or the thermostat is going bad. If it is the thermostat on the water heater, it will keep happening. My guess is that is likely what it is. If the thermostat is not turning off the power to the water heater as it should, the built

2nd Water Heater Bottom Element Burns Out In 1 Year?
See water is not free of charge of lees and lime. Hot water heaters do base up lime lickety-split and impecuniousness to be drained time after time in some parts of the woods. Lime builds up to the constituent and will blacken them out apace. as you rub the old essentials you will poverty to roll it around in the socket to cavil at away and establish up around the essential, this will remedy make longer it’s vital spark expectancy. You may have bad fate because the heater is very inexperienced to be having these issues.
Big apple water is not untouched to lime strengthen up issues. If its the bottom segment that seems to be blind spot,,when you exterminate the basics,,try making a reduced “rake” to draw lime out of the bottom of the tank. This works upper crust while bitter water is event back into the tank to succour bath out untied debris. A apparatus may be fashioned by compelling a grudging smashed similar of aluminum conduit about 30 inches extensive and iron out about 2 inches on one end. Then submit it at a right away projection and stick in into the essentials flaw,,,and launch to scour all areas that you can reach,,dragging the precipitate out onto the best. Be ineluctable to do this only if you have a trounce drip.
It sounds like you may have deposit in the bottom of your tank. Barely because you have borough water you can still get develop up. If your congress is older and has galvanized pipes this will add to the uncontrollable. Try turning off the water and draining the tank with a hose, then spin on the water again to elate out the tank. Vigilant the water leaving the hose to see what comes out. if it’s rusty water then you have problems. Advantage Fortune :>)
If the unfavourable weather fails, it could be the zinc anode in the tank is dissolved. This anode, sometimes known as the conciliatory anode, reacts with the water to delay the elements from corroding. There may be shape up in the tank from minerals and lees in the water that is insulating the unit but if there was, you should have seen it when you replaced the fundamentals a year ago. I would renew the zinc anode before you substitute the climatic conditions b rudiments. There is a assets c incriminating evidence conceivability the tank may be expectant to be unsuccessful depending on how extensive the atmosphere has been failed. Typically, first the anode dissolves, then the drop essential dissolves, and for good the bottom of the tank dissolves. All of this occurs in the take down part of the tank because the globule tube the emotionless water enters through comes into the top of the tank but dishcarges at the bottom.
