I Merely got a Craftsman Table saw. its like a $150 job. I can;t really afford anything super fancy so this will have to do but since I bought it used i don;t l be familiar with if I can put a dado set on it. Is it does it have enough power to handle
Yes, but you are successful to have to do multiple shallow cuts to keep the motor from bogging.

Yes you can run a dado sword on it. Be careful when using hardwoods on your table as it may cause overheating or overload on the circuit.
Usually you hit the full position on power up and under load so normal use should be fine.

Why does my Craftsman Table Saw have a "Female plug-in switch?
Mar 22, 2009 by Sr. Citizen | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
I was conceded an old table saw that has a female plugin switch at the saw...What gives with that!.I would need an extension cord with both
ends being "manful" in order to plug into the house current plug! Is there
such an adapter

Craftsman table saw parts?
Apr 23, 2007 by Douglas E M | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I lack a V Belt (2) replacement for my Craftsman table saw. The part number is 662329-001. I believe the table saw is an early 1990's maquette (model # 315.221850). Does anyone know where I could find such a part?
You should be proficient to find it as a standard part in an auto store. Measure the belt's length and inquire at a auto inventory, and take the part with you. If that does not work for you, Sears will sell you a part.

Craftsman Table saw Question?
Jul 21, 2007 by airforcemom79 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
We barrowed a Crafsman table saw that is about 3-4 years old and it is not working when we become it on. We were told there was a reset button at the bottom of the motor and there is nothing.
Is there another spot or something else we need to
Your missing it, it's there, a reset or overtax button. It will only reset after it cools down. All Craftsman saws have these as a safety feature.
