I cut in blocks for expected attachment of curtain rods. Lucky we thought of this now and not after the drywall is up! My biggest grip is people coach/screw/nail curtain rod on my window trim, grrrrrrrr!
Yeah, I preference power tools. They leave me feeling strong and manly and all that. I have Circular Saws, a saber saw, a sawzall, but the A- is this little gadget.
I love guns. I love power tools. How else could I enjoy my mate of both? With a power tool that qualifies...

i am putting in a new sliding lorgnette door and i have a regular nail gun but it says i need a framing nailer...is there a big difference?
A framing nailer shoots framing nails. These are the morose nails used to build the house. Walls are nailed together with 16d (3-1/4") nails, subfloor and breastwork sheathing is nailed on with 8d (2-3/8") nails. The gun itself is much larger

the nails that can be reach-me-down have to be made special for the unit you have.. they are usually glues together.. home depot has the different types.. take your section to home depot or lowes and ask what type of nail you should use for that unit..

Can I purchase nails for my craftsman framing nailer from another manufacturer?
Dec 10, 2008 by J C | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)
I have a craftman copy #18178 full head framing air nailer and I would like to know if I can buy nails for it at lowes or home depot as a substitute for of sears. (Such as Bostich, Passlode, Senco, Etc...) And I would also like to know if I can use clipped
Looking at that nailer its a 22 bit by bit round head nail. The brands that I'm familiar with senco, bostich, primesource and Paslode do not compose a 22 degree nail. And no Round head and clipped head nails are not interchangeable.

what type of air compressor do I need to run two roofing nailers or one framing nailer?
May 17, 2007 by Ryan | Posted in Decorating & Remodeling
I currently have a charitable framing nailer and a finish nailer. I will be putting a roof on this summer as well. I am wondering what type of air compressor will be the best for this.
Objective a small portable "pancake" compressor. Available for purchase at Lowe's, Peaceful Depot, etc. But, you may want to just rent one from HomeDepot, or another rental shop in your area. Besure to also get at least 100 feet of air hose
