as far as electrical meters go's, it's enough. it all depends on what you are troubleshooting and how unvarnished or intricate it is.

I needfulness a digital multimeter/ammeter for my electrical courses. I need a meter that measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC contemporary. It's been suggested that I get a clamp on meter, but is there one with leads and a clamp? I'm trying to stay under

fluke 330 series is below $300 and almost all clamps have also leads.
But do you really need a clamp to means high currents?
a cheap ($50) made in china meter can measure currents up to 10 amps
