My 10" Craftsman Miter saw works intermittently?

When I go to shot it on, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There is power to the saw. Any thoughts?
Sounds like the trigger-twitch needs replacing..

cant find the directions and when i goto loosen the bolt holding it in place, the blade spins, and the locking identity theory doesnt seem to stick and hold it in place. is there another way....or is this even the correct way? it seems that im actually
The escape will have reversed threads, Righty-loosey, lefty-tighty. You can use a block of wood to 'jam' the rapier still if the lock is broke.
