makita LS1040 won't stop?

I have an electrical culpable on my Makita LS1040 chop saw ,it is a intermitant fault .Sometimes when i turn it off the machine keeps running as if the saw is under shipment.Has anyone ever had this fault on this machine ,could the switch be at fault?

It's To be sure the switch that's at fault. It's not breaking the connection when you release the trigger. Pick up a new one. They're not terribly untiringly to install. Replace it before someone gets hurt. Hope this helps.
