Im looking favoured thte chuck and I see a screw with a star type bit. Anyone know the size/type bit to use to take this influence out?

Can't ascertain you the size of the star. But I will tell you that the screw is more than likely reverse thread. Turn it to the in fairness to loosen it! Then after you remove the screw use a fairly good size (ell) shaped allen draw. Put the short end

There should be a bollix up on the inside of the chuck with reverse threads. The chuck has to be wide open in order to get it off.

Using a impudence drift and hammer, gently tap the jaws of the chuck down-ward (to get them back in line, so to speak). This should relaxed them up.
The best to permanently fix this problem is to remove the bit from the Dewalt and replace

I found this drill sinistral behind by a contractor at my place of work. It was kept for 3 months and not claimed so the drill was given to me. Since I didnt have a drill hitherto I dont have a charger for it. Any idea on a decent charger for this drill
