How do I remove a broken bit from an impact drill?
Sep 22, 2009 by TJ | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Bit on one's uppers while using my Bosch impact drill. None of it is sticking out so can't get a grip on the bit. Magnet didn't work either. It is self tightening and cannot unfasten without a grip on bit... Any ideas on how to loosen or get broken bit
Is it a SDS chuck, or Three jaw fasten together type? if it is an SDS chuck, you should be able to pull back on the sleeve and maybe tap it a couple of times and have it particle out.
If it is a three jaw chuck you may have gotten a "burr"

I'd try biting a groove in the top of the broken bit with a Dremel or something, then use a screwdriver to twist it out.

is the bosch gsb 18 ve-2 impact cordless drill any good?

Yes it is!!! It's an unbelievable drill. It's quick, well balanced, built strong but not too heavy. It even comes with Bosch's air cooled gear box (the only one if it's sympathetic)! It's the best out there in my opinion. If I remember correctly mine

whats the difference between drill drivers & impact drivers?
Dec 31, 2009 by shiela's boy | Posted in Printers
I'm a self employed joiner who also goes out to position in our customers homes. I do a lot of decking and have gone through 3 cordless drills in 4 years. The first was a ryobi 18v combi, then a hitachi 18v drill/driver & a makita 14.4v drill/driver
what for the dearest of all that is holy has this to do with printers
Tools including Ryobi cordless drills, Bosch cordless and impact drills, chuck saws, compressors, air tools, a tool chest, and two sets of screwdrivers were stolen from the drop. Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigation
