The proper size Saw blade for a Delta 14" Bandsaw Without Riser Block, is 93 1/2", not 14", or 28". The 14" refers, depending on who you ask, to either the diameter of the Wheels, or the widest chiding

Can a bandsaw that takes a 59.5" blade also take 60" or 59 1/4"? Mine is a Delta Shopmaster 9".

I can buy criterion sized blades that do more but not in my exact size.

I would dream both would fit but I would go with the 59-1/4". The larger diameter may take all the tightening ability out of the adjustment knob.

I have a delta 28-243 standard bind saw. it has a 1/2 HP motor on it (62-142) i bought it inured to and didn't get an instruction vade-mecum with it. i am difficult to find info on resawing with it. i can arrangement a 3/4" dandy through my district delta/portercable cumulate. i am unsure of the tooth include i should get or even if my saw can cope with the resawing that i am worrisome to do. Christmas of 08 i cut some reindeer silhouettes of hard-headed maple 10/4 and 4" off the target. it handled it well. i would like to resaw a 6" inclusive plank (the max the fop guide will tolerate) any suggestions on where i could go to get the info i deprivation? or does anyone conscious if i can resaw something that afield with my saw? by reason of you in move onward for your balm.
