It's label new and I got it with out a manual or box it does have a yellow tag that says oil before use it has a screw oil cap.
Compressor oil. You can get it at an auto parts or living quarters improvement store. You will want to contact the manufacturer to find the correct ammount to add.

I have no idea when the oil was last changed on the compressor and I'm in a dusty environment.

If Compressor is old it won't topic. If it's new you would want to stick with the Recomended Oil. Any Oil is better that Real Dirty Oil. Change It! It won't hurt it! It could run on almost any oil. Compressors are not that picky. Oil Should be Changed
